ClassyAuto Mock-Ups

Project Details

In March I was approached by Pete Kwiatkowski to help redesign National Vehicle's ClassyAuto website. The redesign was sure to be a massive undertaking - but I was more than excited to work on a website that over 8,000 will soon see and use each day.

I was tasked with completely redesigning the look and feel of their website to be more usable, browsable, and built using web standards. And I was to also charged with helping them to increase the amount of ad space, and functional features (such as drop-down menus, expandable search boxes, and more), on each page without creating something that is visually overwhelming.

To create the website they wanted, I developed a design that's wider, longer, and much better organized than their current design. I thought long and hard about the best way to layout and implement all of the features and ad space that they wanted. And the result of all that thinking, laying out, designing, and tweaking with feedback from Pete, is what you see today.

It was a pleasure to work on the project with Pete Kwiatkowski! Check out the final designs and behind-the-scenes process.
